This book collects 14 rare ancient town chronicles from the Ming, Qing and Republic of China periods, including Songnan Records, Chenmu Town Records, Zhouzhuang Town Records and Xinyi Manuscript. These volumes preserve original records of geographical evolution, local customs, products, historic sites, figures and literary documents. Among them, Yufeng Records of the Song Dynasty pioneered the style rules of local chronicles, marking milestone significance in Chinese chorography.
