Kunshan City Chronicle is the second official local chronicle of Kunshan compiled in six years, covering 1981–2010 with major events. With 38 parts,181 chapters and about 1.8 million words, it records Kunshan’s all-round social-economic development after being upgraded from county to city, focuses on the formation of the well-known "Kunshan Path" amid reform and opening-up, and collects full data on industries, development zones, governance, social security and local culture.
